This is the focus of Melbourne-based designer, Anna Guinness. She (and her Jack Russell Terrier business partner, Gertie!) established gertie and me in mid 2005, initially inspired following a trip to Europe after seeing some exquisite children’s interiors.

Her first product launched was the very stylish and practical Classic Moses Basket, the Moses basket being “the must-have newborn accessory” available across the UK, Europe and the USA. Shortly followed by the hugely popular Dolly Moses Basket complete with Jemima dolly.

gertie and me has since evolved to include a delightful range of charming velour toys and more recently homewares.

Anna says “ This year (2007), I shall have the help of my new twins to consolidate the nursery and toy ranges!”
